FFA is an integral part of the experience as an Agricultural Science student. While being an Ag Science student, you learn different subjects and topics that are relevant and applied in different industries associated with agriculture. As a program we implement the Three Circle Model.
During class we work with instruction, academic learning of the subject of agriculture. A Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) is a chance for you, the student, to apply what you learn into a project that is relevant to agriculture. FFA is the organization and club which allows the student to partake in leadership roles and activities.
Through FFA you get to experience: collaborating with others in being the future of agriculture; conducting research to progress agriculture; compete at district, area, and state level competitions; and participate in leading and advocating for an organization that focuses on the future of agriculture. Not to mention you will have an opportunity to grow and mature as a young adult. Plus you will be joining an organization that has 610,240 members from all 50 States, and get to travel across the state.
If you are interested in becoming a member, or would like more information; please see an FFA Officer, Mrs. Leal, or Ms. Kasper.
